With over 20 years of coaching experience, Ivan has been the Director of Boys Development at Alamo Heights FSH. He has coached senior and junior teams with SA Utd as well as coaching with the South Texas Olympic Development Program.

Simply put, soccer is in my DNA. I’ve been playing since I was 9 living in Puerto Rico and when I moved to San Antonio at age 12, I continued pursuing my passion on the pitch through high school, on to college playing at the University of the Incarnate Word, and then as a coach for more than 20 years. I even have the pleasure of coaching my own son. Nothing is more rewarding to me than assisting players in development and celebrating their successes. Enjoying and embracing the journey is the best part in achieving goals and Pitch Performance is now open to help players of all ages and levels to do just that. In the comfort of my new indoor facility, I’ll push you in ways you will appreciate, inspired by the words of the great Marta Vieira da Silva of the Brazil National Team: “It’s wanting more, training more.
